Every two years the KDOP (Karlsruhe Days of Optics and Photonics) and the KSOP Summer School take place alternately. Every two years the KDOP (Karlsruhe Days of Optics and Photonics) and the KSOP Summer School take place alternately. KSOP also offers mentoring for PhDs, which means that every PhD student at KSOP has a personal mentor, who can support you with issues which cannot be addressed by your scientific advisor.

			Graduate School “Functional Materials” im Rahmen des Exzellencluster 2082 „3D Matter Made to Order“. Similar to KSOP, HEiKA offer an interdisciplinary module program. The school is a part of the Heidelberg Karlsruhe Strategic Partnership (HEiKA) between the KIT and Heidelberg University.
