The local directories of the Scan PC are not accessible over the network, so you need to store your files on J:\Transfer or your U-drive so that you can access them later from your office PC.

Note that with this scanner, the originals must be placed so that the top edge of the document is facing forward!

Please use the Adobe Photoshop program for scanning. The scanning process is started via Datei --> Importieren --> Epson Perfection 1670.... This starts the Epson Scan program.

By default, the scan program is started in Professional mode, as this is the most flexible and allows most settings. First you should start a preview scan, so that you can see the current image in the preview window. Afterwards, you should select the section to be scanned with the mouse.
