Job description
I have been inspecting the optical active nanostructures on biomimic butterfly (Fig.1) scales theoretically using FEM simulation (Fig.2) and high resolution optical microscopy. Meantime, I am working on the fabrication of the scales to mimic all possible features of original butterfly structures.
Expertise
- Simulation: Matlab, COMSOL Multyphysics: RF Module
- Microscopy: TEM, AFM
- Lithography: Laser interference lithography
Equipment
- Optical Spectrometer: Perkin Elmer Lambda 900
- Range: 200-3000 nm
- Task: Measuring transmission, absorption and reflection spectra
More details will be given afterwards.
- AFM: Commercial
- TEM: Zeiss T109 (ITG)
Other task at IMT
- Current Doggiespeaker together with Kira Köhnle
