Name of device: Roland ARM_10

Responsible for device: Marcel Gültig

Location: B301, R212

Short Description

3D-printer The ARM-10 desktop 3D printer brings together Roland DG’s 3D modelling technologies. It features a proprietary projector lens and Roland’s ImageCure resin to create 3D models using UV light. The acrylic resin becomes semi-transparent when cured. Post-processing, such as support removal, polishing, and adding colour are simple to do.

Stereolithography

Stereolithography (SLA or SL; also known as Optical Fabrication, Photo-Solidification, Solid Free-Form Fabrication, Solid Imaging, Rapid Prototyping, Resin Printing, and 3D printing) is a form of additive manufacturing technology used for creating models, prototypes, patterns, and production parts in a layer by layer fashion using photopolymerization, a process by which light causes chains of molecules to link together, forming polymers

Resin

These Resins can be used with Roland ARM_10:

  • PRF35-ST (Flexible)
  • PRH35-ST (Hart)

Limitations

Maximum dimensions of component: 70x70x130mm
