Graduiertenschule - Graduate school/English

A graduate school offers additional courses and education opportunities while pursuing an undergraduate or doctoral degree. Graduate schools often offer fellowships as well, but you can also join as a non-fellow. Here is a list of graduate schools in which IMT doctoral students are/were members.

KSOP - Karlsruhe School of Optics and Photonics

The KSOP offers a Master and a PhD program. The main focus is on the areas of:

• Photonic Materials & Devices
• Quantum Optics & Spectroscopy
• Biomedical Photonics
• Optical Systems
• Solar Energy

As a member of the school you have the possibility to participate in seminars with other PhD students, to attend different block lectures or to participate in the MBA program. Every two years the KDOP (Karlsruhe Days of Optics and Photonics) and the KSOP Summer School take place alternately.
