Short Description

The AccuPyc is a device for measuring the volume of a sample at high precision. It is based on Boyle's law and measures the amount of gas displaced by the sample.

Device Specifications

The device is currently operated with Nitrogen as analysis gas.

The available sample chambers differ in size :

  • 100 cm³
  • 35 cm³
  • 10 cm³

The analysis temperature can be set freely between room temperature and 90 °C.

The accuracy of the device is 0,03 % of the sample chamber size plus 0,03 % of the sample volume.


Restrictions

The device is not suited for liquids. The size of the sample is limited by the cylindric sample chamber (diameter 4,6 cm, height 6,17 cm).
