Safety rules in the cleanroom

Sicherheitseinrichtungen02.jpg
  • The IMT cleanroom is a high hazard lab (Labor mit erhöhter Gefährung). That means that you are only allowed to work in the cleanroom between 6 am and 7 pm.
  • If you want to work alone you have to follow the rules (see Betriebsanweisung Alleinarbeit).
  • To keep this "high hazard" lab status, we need to minimize dangers by toxic/poisonous chemicals and the dangerous tools.
  • We only want to use harmless chemicals. Toxic/poisonous chemicals, chemicals which harm the environment and carcinogenic chemicals are prohibited or are only allowed to use by specially instructed employees who follow the respective safety behaviour.
  • For each new chemical you want to use in the cleanroom, the lab supervisor must be informed and he/she will decide whether you are allowed to bring it into the cleanroom.
