Telefoncodes - Phonecodes/english
To input numbers if there are automatic queries at the beginning of a connection please wait until the connection is established, and then dial *70 to switch to Dual-tone multi-frequency signaling (DTMF). Then numbers can be interpreted by the remote station.

The following codes provide often used funtionality.

A PIN for private calls can be requested from the Teleteam. They need the following information: personnel number, name of the institute, and cost unit (5370). When you have received the PIN you may use it on every telephone in KIT Campus North. The costs will be billed to your salary account.
"Forwarding after time" means that the telephone will ring up to 3 times before the voice mail will be activated.
3-way conferencing: Dial first number, wait until the person called answers, dial second number (without hanging up the phone – further enquiry). Then press 3 – now you are connected with both persons.
