Job description
I was graduated from University of Malaya, Malaysia holding M.Sc degree in Chemistry. I was able to get an organic chemistry and computational chemistry knowledge in the field. At the moment I am working with Dr MacKinnon and Dr Badilita’s groups with a title- Development of a microfluidic platform with integrated microdetectors for NMR analysis and biological sample under supervision of Prof. Dr. Jan G. Korvink. Given my past experience in organic synthesis work, I have been dealing with spectroscopic instrument such as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy by employing experiments such as 1H, 13C, COSY, DEPT, etc and computational chemistry by using Gaussian (DFT/ QM) and Material Studio (MM) software’s. Thanks to this particular experience I was able to perceive the complexity of this field, and to realize that I would like to develop my career in this area. Beside application of physical organic chemistry, I hold especial interest in the spectroscopic – especially in NMR and I would like to do specialization in this particular area. I was exposed to the traditional as well as the state-of-the-art method (for example Molecular orbital (HOMO and LUMO and the spin properties) of chemical reactions.
