General

In very urgent cases SCC Service Desk can be contacted in all problems if no one of the IT-colleagues in IMT is contactable for a longer time period. Of course the colleagues from SCC have no knowledge about IMT specific things (e.g. IMT templates). If there are problems with network shares the driveletter has no meaning for the SCC people because the drive letter is IMT specific also. You have to tell the sharename shown in Windows Explorer (e.g. IMT on \\sccfs.scc.kit.edu\oe instead of J:). Attention! If the colleagues from the computing center have to come to IMT (or the request is very time consuming) then IMT has to pay for it! This has to be discussed with IMT administration before!
