Patrick W. Doll studied Mechanical Engineering at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) where he specialized in Biomedical Engineering (BioMEMS) and hydraulic fluid machines and Aeroacoustics. He received his Diploma (Dipl.-Ing.) in June 2015. In August 2015, he started working as a Ph.D. student in the group of Prof. Dr. A. E. Guber at the Institute of Microstructure Technology (IMT). He received his Ph.D. with highest honors in July 2019 and currently works as a post-doctoral Researcher in the Group of Prof. Guber on the topic of cell/substrate interactions on a micro- and nanoscale.
