Dr. Emil Mamleyev received his PhD from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, focusing on laser-induced carbonization of polymer films. He applied these carbon-rich films to biomedical detection of urea and glucose. From 2020 to 2022, he collaborated with Prof. Dr. Kirill Poletkin on levitation microactuators, perfecting microfabrication processes. In July 2024, Dr. Mamleyev joined Dr. Sören Lehmkuhl's research group under Emmy Noether programm, concentrating on low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) with hyperpolarized radio wave amplification by stimulated emission of radiation (RASER). His goals include implementing RASER in low-field magnets, developing active feedback systems, and miniaturizing NMR experiments using microfabrication and low-cost microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) technologies to advance low-field NMR.
