My research focuses on shape memory alloys, with particular expertise in nanomechanics, superelasticity, martensitic transformations, and size-dependent effects. My experience encompasses alloy processing and fabrication, including thin films and additive manufacturing, as well as mechanical and thermomechanical characterization across multiple length scales.
I am currently an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow at KIT, where I am investigating nanoscale elastocaloric effects through the NanoElastoCal project.
