Magnetic resonance velocimetry for fast liquid flows

Description of Work:

Magnetic resonance velocimetry (MRV) is an experimental method to investigate flow behavior. During recent years, many applications of MRV measurement such as turbulent flows behavior investigation in internal passages with highly complex geometry, evaluation of flow in porous media, and even assessment of blood flow have been presented.
Industrial design can affect behavior of fluid flow in many devices such as heat exchangers and turbine cooling passages, which fluid behavior can be very important in performance and effectiveness of these devices. In order to improve this performance, exact perception of fluid behavior in these industrial components is very beneficial.
The job of the applicant would be to make the samples of MRV measurement and run the experiments. There will be training sessions to learn how to make the samples and run the experiments with MRI machine.
